Wrong Moment for Silence
Another moment of glory from my lo-on-ng childhood.
This audio story is slightly over 2 minutes long:
This scene crystalized pretty quickly -- one of those memories where you think back and say to yourself what a dolt. It goes along with my year's mission/theme of VOICE, as well as my current effort to think in terms of scenes/stories, not lectures. With all the blabbing, chatter, and chit-chat going on in the world, how often do we simply use our own voice to express something important? What strangles and stifles us? Is it school? Is it puberty? What makes saying a coherent sentence in front of an audience worse than death itself?
