DISPATCHED FROM THE CROSSROADS, AT THE INTERSECTION OF yesterday & tomorrow
Saturday, 10.28.06: Week In Review
Week of the slob on Planet Susan.
Drawing, drawing and drawing — a good thing. But nothing on my calendar (except the Mon nite class) meant that I wore the same sloppy old sweater and gray sweatpants all week. "You're going out in that?" Jim asked when we decided to go to the shoe store. I shrugged and threw on a coat.
The orthopedic shoe store was the productive highlight of the week. Instead of going to the discount helpee-selfee, Jim got his feet measured and fitted. Verdict: he's been stuffing his size 12-1/2 feet into size 11 shoes. Duh.
Ebay. Did some work on my store, posting our images of
19th century naturalists & philosophers. Going slow because I don't
know what they are worth and I don't want to flood the market.
St Louis Cardinals win the World Series. Happy family, happy home town — and new episodes of "House" resume next week.
Thumbs Up if you liked this entry.
