Found Sound (from the family archives)
8.13.2013 Just a lot of nonsense on New Year's Day, 1943. Kathleen [my future mom] is trying to record songs, but her sister Mary announces that her family is going home after camping out with Kitty Mom and Ewald (mother and step-father) over the holiday weekend along with her husband Lester, her 2-1/2 year old son George, and her infant Barbara. This fragment was digitally restored from a 78 rpm platter recorded by Kathleen Barrett [Price] at age 17. It's quirky and silly and unintelligible in parts but you can hear my cousin George in it during the second minute. He's about 2-1/2 years old. George died this week, one day short of his 73rd birthday.
