The Writing Life
Aug 1, 2015. A cool, breezy day had me at my favorite perch by the open window, where I relearned enough Adobe Indesign to pour in my manuscript and get all my basic book formatting done. Now for the final tweaking and proof-reading... Wine poured.
The final manuscript in Word clocked in at 112,062 words. That's a hefty read.
It took me awhile to reorient myself to the Indesign workflow, but I got everything imported and pleasantly formated. Looks like about 406 pages.
Lots of details still to attend to, including the attention-grabbing cover and the all-important final proofing before it's final.
