Mad In Pursuit Notebook
These 12 panels were drawn on index cards before and during our first road trip out West, at the end of 2008. They represent my first sustained attempt at a couple of cartoon characters. The drawing/coloring is not very refined, but I found the couple charming and liked how Zuzu's personality developed.
When I got home I quickly wondered where to go with these two friends. A mindmap resulted.
