DISPATCHED FROM THE CROSSROADS, AT THE INTERSECTION OF yesterday & tomorrow
Saturday, 10.13.07: Week In Review
I used the excuse of a mild cold to sit at my desk all week and pound away.
Sales. Got some stock in the store -- mostly my brother's finds -- and watching the auctions. Our list of public health books has been rejected by a couple of big book dealers; a third has been contacted. Jim and I are discussing alternatives for breaking down a collection like this into smaller chunks that might appeal to dealers with narrower specialties and less cash.
Turning my sights on our all pervasive photographica collection. More strategizing required.
Consulting. Having fun working with Pat D. and her daughter Lesley, brainstorming around Lesley's emerging software business. Some of my inspiration on the left (what rhymes with "fire"?)
Fishing! Finally, this morning Maria and I are going fishing. Nothing like waiting till a dark chilly October morn.
Thumbs Up if you liked this entry.
