Kathleen's Timeline In Progress

This is my mother's branch of the family -- based in St. Louis, Missouri. Patrick Barrett and Mary Gardiner were the first to arrive in America as Irish Famine refugees and settled outside of St. Louis in Catawissa, MO. Ellen Gibbons, Moses Flanagan, and Maggie Keville were among the immigrants looking for opportunities in the New World later in the 19th century. Each came first to Chicago IL and then moved to St. Louis. We believe they were all from County Mayo except for Flanagan, who we believe was from Limerick. In our searches, we're also including the family of my grandmother's beloved second husband Ewald Curran. These histories have been developing as we get information and put together the stories.
